about dianna jacobsen

I grew up surrounded by art. Many of my family members are fine artists, including my father, who made a living with his paintings for many years. I suppose it was only natural that I would gravitate toward a creative way of making a living.

How did Jacobsen Design begin? I was working as the in-house graphic designer for a small, growing software company which was later purchased by Intuit, the makers of Quicken and TurboTax. At Intuit, I was part of a fast-paced marketing team, designing integrated direct marketing campaigns, marketing materials, sales tools, product packaging, tradeshow graphics, web graphics, and more. Ready for a new challenge, I left Intuit in October 2003 and formed Jacobsen Design.

I use my more than 13 years of graphic design experience and 8+ years of web design experience to help businesses of various sizes with their marketing and visual branding needs. I work with businesses in a variety of industries, which helps keep my thinking fresh and flexible.
